FREDDY KOELLA | BIOGRAPHY
Freddy Koella is a native of Mulhouse, France. He plays guitar and violin.
He has worked with
Bob Dylan,
Lhasa de Sela,
Willy Deville,
k.d. lang,
Doctor John,
Zachary Richard,
Carla Bruni,
Francis Cabrel,
Dick Annegarn and many others.
His production credits include "Le Nouveau Monde" (Richard Gilly, 2000),
"Miracle Mule" (The Subdudes, 2004), "Kenny Edwards" and "Resurrection
Road"
(Kenny Edwards, 2002 and 2009), and “Letter Home”
(Lila Nelson, 2008).
He released his first solo instrumental album, titled "Minimal" in 2005. "Minimal
is an acoustic guitar and tricone recording direct to stereo.
Freddy is currently finishing his new album (French label "Tot ou Tard").
Accompanying him on five cuts are upright bass player David Piltch and drummer
Jay Bellerose. |
